       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Bradley) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete line 55
    4  and insert:
    5  imprisonment for a term of not less than 50 years. This
    6  paragraph applies retroactively only to the extent necessary to
    7  meet constitutional requirements for imposing a life sentence on
    8  a defendant who is convicted of committing a murder that was
    9  committed before the person was 18 years of age as set forth by
   10  the United States Supreme Court in Miller v. Alabama, 132 S. Ct.
   11  2455 (2012).
