       The Committee on Community Affairs (Latvala) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 16
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (23) is added to section 489.103,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         489.103 Exemptions.—This part does not apply to:
    8         (23) An owner or operator of a public swimming pool or spa
    9  permitted under s. 514.031, or his or her direct employee, who
   10  undertakes to maintain the swimming pool or spa for the purpose
   11  of water treatment.
   12         Section 2. Subsection (3) of section 489.105, Florida
   13
