       Senator Simmons moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 2262 - 2266
    4  and insert:
    5         k. Reporting expeditiously to the Department of Law
    6  Enforcement or other law enforcement agencies, as appropriate,
    7  whenever the inspector general has reasonable grounds to believe
    8  there has been a violation of criminal law.
    9         l. Providing the executive director and board chairman with
   10  independent and objective assessments of programs and
   11  activities.
   12         m. Complying with the General Principles and Standards for
   13  Offices of Inspector General as published and revised by the
   14  Association of Inspectors General.
