       Senator Simmons moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 2422 and 2423
    4  insert:
    5         f. The Legislature finds that there is not a reasonable
    6  level of competition in Monroe County. As a result, the current
    7  rate and the provisions of subparagraph 3. apply to all new
    8  business in Monroe County until the office makes a finding that
    9  a reasonable level of competition for residential property
   10  insurance exists in the county.
