       Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services
       (Richter) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (828398) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 1189 - 1195
    5  and insert:
    6         (5) DELIVERY OF SERVICES.The corporation shall contract
    7  with authorized insurers licensed under chapter 627; managed
    8  care organizations authorized under chapter 641; and provider
    9  service networks authorized under ss. 409.912(4)(d) and
   10  409.962(13) which are prepaid plans. These insurers, managed
   11  care organizations, and provider service networks must meet
   12  standards established by the corporation to provide
   13  comprehensive health care services to enrollees who qualify for
   14  services under this section. The corporation may contract for
   15  such services on a statewide or regional basis. To encourage
   16  continuity of care among enrollees who may transition across
   17  multiple insurance affordability programs, the corporation is
   18  encouraged to contract with those insurers and managed care
   19  organizations that participate in more than one such program.
