       The Committee on Education (Galvano) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Before line 8
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Paragraph (e) of subsection (4) of section
    6  288.8175, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         288.8175 Linkage institutes between postsecondary
    8  institutions in this state and foreign countries.—
    9         (4) The institutes are:
   10         (e) Florida-China Institute (University of West Florida,
   11  University of South Florida, and Eastern Florida State Brevard
   12  Community College).

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete lines 2 - 4
   17  and insert:
   18         An act relating to Brevard Community College; amending
   19         ss. 288.8175 and 1000.21, F.S.; renaming Brevard
   20         Community College as “Eastern Florida State College”;
   21         providing an effective date.
