Subsections (1) and (15) of section 379.354, 6 Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 7 379.354 Recreational licenses, permits, and authorization 8 numbers; fees established.— 9 (1) LICENSE, PERMIT, OR AUTHORIZATION NUMBER REQUIRED.— 10(a)Except as provided in s. 379.353, no person shall take 11 game, freshwater or saltwater fish, or fur-bearing animals 12 within this state without having first obtained a license, 13 permit, or authorization number and paid the fees set forth in 14 this chapter. Such license, permit, or authorization number 15 shall authorize the person to whom it is issued to take game, 16 freshwater or saltwater fish, or fur-bearing animals, and 17 participate in outdoor recreational activities in accordance 18 with the laws of the state and rules of the commission. 19(b) In 2013 and every 5 years thereafter, license and20permit fees established in subsections (4) and (5) shall be21adjusted by the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index22for All Urban Consumers since the fees were last adjusted,23unless otherwise provided by general law. By February 1 of each24year in which an adjustment is scheduled to occur, the Fish and25Wildlife Conservation Commission shall submit a report to the26President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of27Representatives detailing how the increase in license and permit28fees will be used within the agency. The license and permit fee29increases shall take effect July 1 of each adjustment year.30 31 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 32 And the title is amended as follows: 33 Delete lines 18 - 20 34 and insert: 35 379.354, F.S.; deleting a provision that provides for 36 an automatic adjustment of recreational hunting and 37 fishing license fees every 5 years; revising
