    2         An act relating to the student assessment program for
    3         public schools; amending s. 1008.22, F.S.; requiring
    4         each school district to establish and approve testing
    5         schedules for district-required assessments and
    6         publish the schedules on its website; providing an
    7         effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Paragraph (d) is added to subsection (8) of
   12  section 1008.22, Florida Statutes, to read:
   13         1008.22 Student assessment program for public schools.—
   14         (8) LOCAL ASSESSMENTS.—
   15         (d) Each school district shall establish testing schedules
   16  for the administration of any district-required assessment. The
   17  district school board shall approve the district testing
   18  schedule as an agenda item at a publicly noticed district school
   19  board meeting. The school district shall publish the testing
   20  schedules on its website, clearly identifying the district
   21  required assessments.
   22         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013.
