       The Committee on Rules (Latvala) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 1073 - 1078
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 18. Paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection (4) of
    6  section 102.031, Florida Statutes, are amended, and paragraph
    7  (d) is added to that subsection, to read:
    8         (4)(a) No person, political committee, committee of
    9  continuous existence, or other group or organization may solicit
   10  voters inside the polling place or within 100 feet of the
   11  entrance to any polling place, or a polling room where the
   12  polling place is also a polling room, or an early voting site,
   13  or an office of the supervisor of elections where absentee
   14  ballots are requested and printed on demand for the convenience
   15  of electors who appear in person to request them. Before the
   16  opening of the polling place or early voting site, the clerk or
   17  supervisor shall designate the no-solicitation zone and mark the
   18  boundaries.
