       Senators Smith, Joyner, Braynon, Gibson, Bullard, and Thompson
       moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (301346) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 631 - 639
    4  and insert:
    5         (d) Early voting shall begin on the 10th day before an
    6  election that contains state or federal races and end on the 2nd
    7  3rd day before the election, and shall be provided for no less
    8  than 6 hours and no more than 12 hours per day at each site
    9  during the applicable period. In addition, early voting may be
   10  offered, at the discretion of the supervisor of elections, on
   11  the 15th, 14th, 13th, 12th, and 11th days before an election
   12  that contains state or federal races. On the 2nd day before an
   13  election that contains state or federal races, the supervisor
   14  must provide early voting in the main office of the supervisor
   15  and any branch offices. The opening of additional early voting
   16  sites on the 2nd day before an election is at the discretion of
