       Senator Flores moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (218538) (with title
    2  amendment)

    5  insert:
    6         Section 29. Paragraph (aaaa) is added to subsection (4) of
    7  section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         320.08056 Specialty license plates.—
    9         (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall be
   10  collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
   11         (aaaa) Big Brothers Big Sisters license plate, $25.
   12         Section 30. Subsection (79) is added to section 320.08058,
   13  Florida Statutes, to read:
   14         320.08058 Specialty license plates.—
   15         (79) BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS LICENSE PLATES.—
   16         (a) Notwithstanding s. 320.08053(1) and s. 45, chapter
   17  2008-176, Laws of Florida, as amended by s. 21, chapter 2010
   18  223, Laws of Florida, the department shall develop a Big
   19  Brothers Big Sisters license plate as provided in s.
   20  320.08053(2) and (3), and this section. The plate must bear the
   21  colors and design approved by the department. The word “Florida”
   22  must appear at the top of the plate, and the words “Big Brothers
   23  Big Sisters” must appear at the bottom of the plate.
   24         (b) The department shall retain all annual use fees from
   25  the sale of the plate until all startup costs for developing and
   26  issuing the plate have been recovered. Thereafter, the annual
   27  use fees from the sale of the plate shall be distributed to Big
   28  Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida, Inc., which may use
   29  up to 10 percent of such fees for administrative costs and
   30  marketing of the plate. The balance of the fees shall be used by
   31  Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida, Inc., to
   32  promote mentoring.
