       Appropriations Subcommittee on Education (Simmons) recommended
       the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (766560) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 196 - 207
    5  and insert:
    6  board. The district school board shall consider and implement
    7  one of the turnaround options set forth in s. 1008.33(4)(b). If
    8  the district school board adopts a turnaround option that is
    9  different from the turnaround option selected by parents, it
   10  shall set forth in a report a detailed explanation of the
   11  reasons it has not adopted the parents’ suggested turnaround
   12  option and set forth the reasons for the plan it has adopted.
   13  The turnaround option selected by the district school board
   14  shall be final and conclusive. If the school improves by at
   15  least one letter grade,

   19         Delete lines 418 - 422
   20  and insert:
   21         requiring the district school board to implement a
   22         turnaround option; requiring the district school board
   23         to complete a report under certain circumstances;
   24         providing report requirements; providing that the
   25         turnaround option selected by the district school
   26         board is final and conclusive; providing that the
   27         turnaround option is no longer required if the school
   28         improves by at least one letter grade; amending s.
