    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to trust funds of the Department of
    3         Veterans’ Affairs; amending s. 215.22, F.S.; exempting
    4         trust funds administered by the department from the
    5         service charge representing the estimated pro rata
    6         share of the cost of general government paid from the
    7         General Revenue Fund; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Paragraph (w) is added to subsection (1) of
   12  section 215.22, Florida Statutes, to read:
   13         215.22 Certain income and certain trust funds exempt.—
   14         (1) The following income of a revenue nature or the
   15  following trust funds shall be exempt from the appropriation
   16  required by s. 215.20(1):
   17         (w) Trust funds administered by the Department of Veterans’
   18  Affairs.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013.
