       Senator Soto moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 1761 and 1762
    4  insert:
    5         Section 29. Subsection (6) is added to section 627.0653,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         627.0653 Insurance discounts for specified motor vehicle
    8  equipment.—
    9         (6) The office may approve a premium discount applicable to
   10  any rates, rating schedules, or rating manuals for liability,
   11  personal injury protection, and collision coverages for motor
   12  vehicle insurance policies filed with the office for vehicles
   13  equipped with factory-installed electronic vehicle crash
   14  avoidance technology or vehicles with a retrofitted crash
   15  avoidance system that complies with National Highway Traffic
   16  Safety Administration standards.
