       Senator Latvala moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 152 and 153
    4  insert:
    5         (85) MOFFITT CANCER CENTER LICENSE PLATES.—
    6         (a) Notwithstanding s. 45, chapter 2008-176, Laws of
    7  Florida, as amended by s. 21, chapter 2010-223, Laws of Florida,
    8  and s. 320.08053(1), the department shall develop a Moffitt
    9  Cancer Center license plate as provided in s. 320.08053(2) and
   10  (3) and this section. The word “Florida” must appear at the top
   11  of the plate, and the words “Moffitt Cancer Center” must appear
   12  at the bottom of the plate.
   13         (b) The department shall retain all annual use fees from
   14  the sale of such plates until the startup costs for developing
   15  and issuing the plates have been recovered. Thereafter, the
   16  annual use fees shall be distributed to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer
   17  Center and Research Institute, which may use up to 10 percent of
   18  the proceeds for administrative costs and for the marketing of
   19  the plate. The balance of the fees shall be used by the
   20  institute to support its research, education, treatment,
   21  prevention and detection, teaching, and research activities.
