    5         (b) A health maintenance organization that has verified the
    6  eligibility of a subscriber at the time of treatment and has
    7  provided an authorization number may not retroactively deny a
    8  claim because of subscriber ineligibility under a federal
    9  Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act compliant contract
   10  unless at the time eligibility was verified by the health
   11  maintenance organization the provider was notified that the
   12  subscriber was delinquent in paying the premium.
