       Senator Braynon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 55 - 67
    4  and insert:
    5         (a) The ordinance must provide for a referendum to
    6  implement the surtax. Such ordinance must be enacted by the
    7  governing body of the county before June 1 of the year in which
    8  the referendum is to be held. The referendum shall be scheduled
    9  for the next available countywide election after June 1.
