       Senator Ring moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (271406) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 8 - 14
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) An authority created by an act of the Legislature,
    6  under condition to become effective upon approval by vote of the
    7  electors of the area affected, which has authority over matters
    8  related to transportation, including matters concerning a public
    9  right-of-way, and which has the authority to issue bonds, must
   10  not, in the event of referendum, be subject to consolidation or
   11  dissolution more than once every 8 years.
