       Senator Altman moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (494350) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 600 and 601
    5  insert:
    6         Section 15. Section 331.371, Florida Statutes, is created
    7  to read:
    8         331.371 Strategic space infrastructure investment.—In
    9  consultation with Space Florida, the Department of
   10  Transportation may fund strategic spaceport launch support
   11  facilities investment projects, as defined in s. 331.303, at up
   12  to 100 percent of the project’s cost if:
   13         (1) Important access and on-spaceport and commercial launch
   14  facility capacity improvements are provided;
   15         (2) Capital improvements that strategically position the
   16  state to maximize opportunities in international trade are
   17  achieved;
   18         (3) Goals of an integrated intermodal transportation system
   19  for the state are achieved; and
   20         (4) Feasibility and availability of matching funds through
   21  federal, local, or private partners are demonstrated.
