On Page: 276             Allocates $409,000 of nonrecurring funds from the 
                         Special Employment Security Administration Trust 
Spec App: 2193A          Fund in the Department of Economic Opportunity for 
                         an employment assistance and training pilot program 
                         serving veterans in Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee and 
                         DeSoto counties.

At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific 
Appropriation 2193A, INSERT:

From the nonrecurring funds provided from the Special Employment 
Security Administration Trust Fund in Specific Appropriation 2193A, 
$409,000 is provided for a pilot program to provide employment 
assistance and training for veterans in Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee and 
DeSoto counties. The Department of Economic Opportunity must contract 
with a non-profit organization operating in those counties that recycles 
materials, operates retail stores, and provides employment opportunities 
to individuals who may otherwise face barriers to employment. The 
non-profit organization must have annual gross revenues in excess of $40

million and be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of 
Rehabilitation Facilities.
