       The Committee on Judiciary (Ring) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete lines 36 - 39
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) Submission of an invoice by a licensed contractor under
    6  part I of chapter 489 or a subcontractor to an insurance company
    7  and an agreement to a discount in order to expedite payment of
    8  the invoice does not constitute the adjustment of a claim.
