       The Committee on Judiciary (Simpson) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 82 - 91
    4  and insert:
    5  appropriated and to draw a warrant in the sum of $1.2 million,
    6  less the amount paid for repayment of Medicaid liens, payable to
    7  the Aubrey Javaris Stewart Special Needs Trust, by the first
    8  November 1 after the passage of this act as compensation for
    9  injuries and damages sustained as a result of the negligence of
   10  the City of Jacksonville. In addition, the City of Jacksonville
   11  is further authorized and directed to appropriate from funds of
   12  the city not otherwise appropriated and to draw a warrant in the
   13  sum of $1 million payable to the Aubrey Javaris Stewart Special
   14  Needs Trust, 1 year from the first payment; the sum of
