Funds allocated for the startup bonus program under section 409.909, Florida Statutes, are provided for the following physician specialties and subspecialties, both adult and pediatric, that are in statewide supply/demand deficit: allergy or immunology; anesthesiology; cardiology; endocrinology; family medicine; general surgery; hematology; oncology; infectious diseases; neurological surgery; neurology; obstetrics/gynecology; ophthalmology; orthopedic surgery; otolaryngology; psychiatry; pulmonary; radiology; rheumatology; thoracic surgery; and urology.
