At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific 
Appropriation 1985A, INSERT:

From the funds in Specific Appropriation 1985A $166,814,000 in General 
Revenue Funds and $90,541,000 in trust funds are provided for a 3 
percent across-the-board salary increase for state employees.
Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
