       Senator Bullard moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (877970) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 423 and 424
    5  insert:
    6         (h) Memorandum of understanding.—The department shall enter
    7  into a memorandum of understanding with each school district.
    8  The memorandum of understanding must specify the quantity and
    9  variety of statewide, standardized assessments to be
   10  administered in the applicable school year. The terms outlined
   11  in the memorandum of understanding must provide that the
   12  administration of statewide, standardized assessments will not
   13  result in significant disruption of classroom time.

   18  insert:
   19         requiring the department to enter into a memorandum of
   20         understanding with school districts regarding the
