Section 517.2016, Florida Statutes, is amended 15 to read: 16 517.2016 Public records exemption; examination techniques 17 orandprocedures.— 18 (1) As used inFor purposes ofthis section, the term 19 “examination techniques orandprocedures” meansarethe 20 methods, processes, and guidelines used to evaluate regulatory 21 compliance and to collect and analyze data, records, and 22 testimony for the purpose of documenting violations of this 23 chapter and the rules adoptedpromulgatedthereunder. 24 (2) Information that would reveal examination techniques or 25 procedures used by the office pursuant to this chapter is 26 confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I 27 of the State Constitution. This exemption applies to such 28 information held by the office before, on, or after the 29 effective date of this exemption. 30 (3) Confidential and exempt information that would reveal 31 examination techniques or procedures may be provided by the 32 office to another governmental entity having oversight or 33 regulatory or law enforcement authority. 34(4) This section is subject to the Open Government Sunset35Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand repealed36on October 2, 2015, unless reviewed and saved from repeal37through reenactment by the Legislature.38 Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2015.
