House Comm: FAV . 04/03/2015 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Garcia) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 726 - 736 4 and insert: 5 397.402 Single, consolidated license.—No later than January 6 1, 2016, the department, in consultation with the Agency for 7 Health Care Administration, shall modify licensure rules and 8 procedures to create an option for a single, consolidated 9 license for a provider that offers multiple types of mental 10 health and substance abuse services regulated under this chapter 11 and chapter 394. Providers eligible for a consolidated license 12 must operate these services through a single corporate entity 13 and a unified management structure. Any provider serving both 14 adults and children must meet department standards for separate 15 facilities and other requirements necessary to ensure the safety 16 of children and promote therapeutic efficacy.
