       Senator Abruzzo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (211438) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 14 - 18
    4  and insert:
    5         (f) Opening and closing of schools; fixing uniform date.
    6  Adopt policies for the opening and closing of schools and fix
    7  uniform dates; however, beginning with the 2007-2008 school
    8  year, the opening date for schools in the district may not be
    9  earlier than the third Monday in August of 14 days before Labor
   10  Day each year.
