    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Beirut Memorial; amending s.
    3         265.0031, F.S.; requiring that the Florida Veterans’
    4         Memorial Garden include the Beirut Memorial; providing
    5         an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (4) is added to section 265.0031,
   10  Florida Statutes, to read:
   11         265.0031 Florida Veterans’ Walk of Honor and Florida
   12  Veterans’ Memorial Garden.—
   13         (4) The Florida Veterans’ Memorial Garden must include a
   14  memorial in remembrance of the 241 members of the United States
   15  Armed Forces who lost their lives on October 23, 1983, in
   16  Beirut, Lebanon.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.
