       The Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation
       (Soto) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (612098) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 830 and 831
    5  insert:
    6         Section 13. Subsection (6) is added to section 373.223,
    7  Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         373.223 Conditions for a permit.—
    9         (6) A consumptive use permit authorizing more than 100,000
   10  gallons per day shall be monitored on a yearly basis, with the
   11  cost of such monitoring to be borne by the permittee.

   14  And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete line 3363
   16  and insert:
   17         s. 373.223, F.S.; requiring consumptive use permits
   18         authorizing over a certain amount to be monitored on a
   19         specified basis; requiring the costs of monitoring to
   20         be borne by the permittee; amending s. 373.2234, F.S.;
   21         directing water management district
