       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 198
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 9. Subsection (6) of section 381.0065, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         381.0065 Onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems;
    8  regulation.—
    9         (6) LAND APPLICATION OF SEPTAGE PROHIBITED.—Effective June
   10  30, 2017 2016, the land application of septage from onsite
   11  sewage treatment and disposal systems is prohibited.
   12         Section 10. Effective June 30, 2016, section 51 of chapter
   13  2015-222, Laws of Florida, is repealed.
   14         Section 11. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
   15  act, this act shall take effect upon becoming law. If this act
   16  fails to become a law until after June 30, 2016, and an earlier
   17  effective date is specified herein for any section, that section
   18  shall operate retroactively to that date.

   20  And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Delete lines 36 - 37
   22  and insert:
   23         403.201, F.S., in a reference thereto; amending
   24         381.0065, F.S.; revising the date upon which a
   25         prohibition on land application of certain septage
   26         begins; repealing s. 51 of chapter 2015-222, Laws of
   27         Florida, relating to a scheduled expiration and
   28         reversion of amendments to s. 381.0065(6), F.S.;
   29         providing for contingent retroactive operation;
   30         providing effective dates.
