Senator Brandes moved the following:

4 insert:
5 Section 2. Subsection (2) of section 472.0366, Florida
6 Statutes, is amended to read:
7 472.0366 Elevation certificates; requirements for surveyors
8 and mappers.—
9 (2) Beginning January 1, 2017, a surveyor and mapper shall,
10 within 30 days after completion, submit a copy of each elevation
11 certificate that he or she completes to the division or, if
12 required to do so by county or municipal ordinance, to the local
13 building official a copy of each elevation certificate that he
14 or she completes. If a The copy is sent to the division, it must
15 be unaltered, except that the surveyor and mapper may redact the
16 name of the property owner. This subsection may not be construed
17 to require a surveyor and mapper to submit a copy of the
18 completed elevation certificate to the division if he or she has
19 submitted it to the local building official as required by
20 ordinance.
