       Senator Latvala moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (232004) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 172 - 179
    5  and insert:
    6         Section 4. Effective July 1, 2016, for the 2016-2017 fiscal
    7  year, the sum of $7.3 million in recurring funds and the sum of
    8  $3.5 million in nonrecurring funds is appropriated from the
    9  General Revenue Fund to the Department of Juvenile Justice for
   10  the purpose of implementing the amendments to s. 985.686,
   11  Florida Statutes, made by this act. These funds supplement the
   12  funds appropriated to the department in the 2016-2017 General
   13  Appropriations Act to pay the state’s costs for juvenile
   14  detention.
   15         Section 5. Except as otherwise provided in this act, this
   16  act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
