Paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section 6 320.07, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 7 320.07 Expiration of registration; renewal required; 8 penalties.— 9 (3) The operation of any motor vehicle without having 10 attached thereto a registration license plate and validation 11 stickers, or the use of any mobile home without having attached 12 thereto a mobile home sticker, for the current registration 13 period shall subject the owner thereof, if he or she is present, 14 or, if the owner is not present, the operator thereof to the 15 following penalty provisions: 16 (a) Any person whose motor vehicle or mobile home 17 registration has been expired for a period of 6 months or less 18 commits a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a 19 nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.
