Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 6 316.0776, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 7 316.0776 Traffic infraction detectors; placement and 8 installation.— 9 (2)(a) If the department, county, or municipality installs 10 a traffic infraction detector at an intersection, the 11 department, county, or municipality shall notify the public that 12 a traffic infraction device may be in use at that intersection 13 and must specifically include notification of camera enforcement 14 of violations concerning right turns. A citation may not be 15 issued to a motorist unless the signage notifying the public of 16 the presence of the traffic infraction detector meetsSuch17signage used to notify the public must meetthe following 18 specifications:for uniform signals and devices adopted by the19Department of Transportation pursuant to s. 316.0745.20 1. Is 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall and displays visible, 21 prominent letters stating “Photo Enforced”; and 22 2. Is installed at an intersection with a traffic 23 infraction detector on or before November 30, 2016. The signage 24 must be prominently displayed over the intersection and be 25 clearly visible to drivers in both directions. The traffic 26 infraction detector company is responsible for any costs 27 associated with the manufacture and installation of such 28 signage. 29 30 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 31 And the title is amended as follows: 32 Between lines 5 and 6 33 insert: 34 amending s. 316.0776, F.S.; prohibiting citations from 35 being issued to motorists unless traffic infraction 36 detector notification signage meets certain 37 requirements and is installed at an intersection with 38 a traffic infraction detector by a certain date; 39 requiring that the traffic infraction detector company 40 be responsible for certain costs of the signage;
