       Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government (Altman)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 97 - 121
    4  and insert:
    5         (18) In consultation with other state agencies and giving
    6  consideration to the feasibility study conducted pursuant to s.
    7  30, chapter 2014-221, Laws of Florida, direct the chief data
    8  officer to:
    9         (a) Establish a governance structure for managing state
   10  government data in a manner that promotes interoperability and
   11  openness;
   12         (b) Establish a catalog of state government data which
   13  documents the acceptable use of, security and compliance
   14  requirements for, sharing agreements for, and format and methods
   15  available to access the data; and
   16         (c) Ensure that, if legally permissible and not cost
   17  prohibitive, such data is readily available to other state
   18  agencies and the public in compliance with the public records
   19  requirements of chapter 119.
   20         (19) Consult with each state agency on the development of

   24         Delete lines 70 - 72
   25  and insert:
   26  282.0051, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as subsections (20)
   27  and (21), respectively, and new subsections (17), (18), and (19)
   28  are added to that section, to read:
