    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Federal Home Loan Banks;
    3         amending s. 655.057, F.S.; providing that certain
    4         records requirements do not prevent or restrict the
    5         furnishing of certain information held by the Office
    6         of Financial Regulation to the Federal Home Loan Banks
    7         pursuant to an information-sharing agreement;
    8         requiring the office to execute such agreement by a
    9         specified date; providing an effective date.

   11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   12  
   13         Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (5) of section
   14  655.057, Florida Statutes, is amended, and paragraph (f) is
   15  added to that subsection, to read:
   16         655.057 Records; limited restrictions upon public access.—
   17         (5) This section does not prevent or restrict:
   18         (b) Furnishing records or information to any other state,
   19  federal, or foreign agency responsible for the regulation or
   20  supervision of financial institutions, including Federal Home
   21  Loan Banks.
   22         (f) Furnishing information to the Federal Home Loan Banks
   23  regarding their member institutions pursuant to an information
   24  sharing agreement between the Federal Home Loan Banks and the
   25  office.

   27  Any confidential information or records obtained from the office
   28  pursuant to this subsection shall be maintained as confidential
   29  and exempt from s. 119.07(1).
   30         Section 2. The Office of Financial Regulation shall execute
   31  an information-sharing agreement with the Federal Home Loan
   32  Banks for purposes of s. 655.057(5)(f), Florida Statutes, by
   33  August 1, 2016.
   34         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2016.
