       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Clemens) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 38 - 40
    4  and insert:
    5         2. A law enforcement agency shall promptly make reasonable
    6  efforts to notify the victim if the victim’s property is
    7  determined to be in the possession of a pawnbroker as defined in
    8  s. 539.001(2). The law enforcement agency shall give the victim
