       Senator Soto moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 908 - 920
    4  and insert:
    5         (6) No later than July 1, 2017, all consumptive use permits
    6  authorizing more than 100,000 gallons per day shall be metered
    7  on a monthly basis, with the cost of the metering to be borne by
    8  the permittee. Water management districts shall implement this
    9  subsection pursuant to the general procedures specified in Part
   10  B of the Water Use Permit Applicant’s Handbook of the Southwest
   11  Florida Water Management District, dated May 19, 2014.

   16  and insert:
   17         certain uniform rules; amending s. 373.223, F.S.;
   18         requiring, by a certain date, consumptive use permits
   19         authorizing more than a specified number of gallons
   20         per day to be metered on a specified basis with costs
   21         of the metering borne by the permittee; requiring that
   22         the metering be conducted pursuant to specified
   23         procedures; amending s. 373.2234, F.S.;
