       The Committee on Judiciary (Soto) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 82 - 83
    4  and insert:
    5  $600,000 which, after payment of fees, costs, and expenses as
    6  provided in section 3, shall be placed, in a special needs trust
    7  for the exclusive use and benefit of Q.B to compensate her for
    8  injuries and damages sustained.

   10  And the title is amended as follows:
   11         Delete lines 71 - 73
   12  and insert:
   13         WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to a settlement in
   14         the amount of $600,000, which was approved on December
   15         16, 2016, by the Palm Beach County School Board, NOW,
   16         THEREFORE,
