    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to onsite sewage treatment and
    3         disposal systems; amending s. 381.0065, F.S.; deleting
    4         the future prohibition on land application of septage;
    5         providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (6) of section 381.0065, Florida
   10  Statutes, is amended to read:
   11         381.0065 Onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems;
   12  regulation.—
   13         (6) LAND APPLICATION OF SEPTAGE PROHIBITED.—Effective June
   14  30, 2016, the land application of septage from onsite sewage
   15  treatment and disposal systems is prohibited.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
