       Appropriations Subcommittee on Education (Gaetz) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 134 - 146
    4  and insert:
    5  whose child is not subject to a current expulsion or suspension
    6  order to enroll his or her child in and transport his or her
    7  child to any public school that has not reached capacity in the
    8  district, subject to the maximum class size pursuant to s.
    9  1003.03 and s. 1, Art. IX of the State Constitution. The school
   10  district shall accept the student, pursuant to that school
   11  district’s controlled open enrollment participation process, and
   12  report the student for purposes of the school district’s funding
   13  pursuant to the Florida Education Finance Program. A school
   14  district may provide transportation to students described under
   15  this subsection at the district school board’s discretion.
   16         (b) Each charter school governing board shall allow a
   17  parent whose child is not subject to a current expulsion or
   18  suspension order
