       Senator Sobel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 331 and 332
    4  insert:
    5         Section 9. The Department of Education shall ensure that
    6  school districts in this state periodically update any national
    7  or state background screening databases for any past, current,
    8  or future employees who are required to undergo background
    9  screening pursuant to s. 1012.465 or s. 1012.56, Florida
   10  Statutes.

   14         Between lines 26 and 27
   15  insert:
   16         requiring the department to ensure that school
   17         districts periodically update certain background
   18         screening databases;
