Subsections (2) and (3) of section 403.703, 10 Florida Statutes, are renumbered as subsections (3) and (2), 11 respectively, and subsection (24) of that section is amended, to 12 read: 13 403.703 Definitions.—As used in this part, the term: 14 (24) “Recovered materials” means metal, paper, glass, 15 plastic, textile,orrubber, wood, asphalt, or concrete 16 materials that have known recycling potential, can be feasibly 17 recycled, and have been diverted and source separated or have 18 been removed from the solid waste stream for sale, use, or reuse 19 as raw materials, whether or not the materials require 20 subsequent processing or separation from each other, but the 21 term does not include materials destined for any use that 22 constitutes disposal. Recovered materials as described in this 23 subsection are not solid waste. 24 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2017.
