       The Committee on Appropriations (Flores) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 713 and 714
    4  insert:
    5         Section 22. Section 563.01, Florida Statutes, is amended to
    6  read:
    7         563.01 Definitions Definition.—The term: terms
    8         (1) “Beer” means a brewed beverage that meets the federal
    9  definition of beer in 27 C.F.R. s. 25.11 and contains less than
   10  6 percent alcohol by volume. and
   11         (2) “Malt beverage” means any mean all brewed beverage
   12  beverages containing malt.
   13  
   14  The terms “beer” and “malt beverage” have the same meaning when
   15  either term is used in the Beverage Law. The terms do not
   16  include alcoholic beverages that require a certificate of label
   17  approval by the Federal Government as wine or as distilled
   18  spirits.
