The Committee on Appropriations (Latvala) recommended the
following:
1 Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

3 Between lines 383 and 384
4 insert:
5 (7) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, An
6 adjudication of delinquency for an offense classified as a
7 felony shall disqualify a person from lawfully possessing a
8 firearm until such person reaches 24 years of age, unless the
9 person’s criminal history record for that offense has been
10 expunged pursuant to s. 943.0515(1)(b).
11 Section 8. The Legislature determines and declares that
12 this act fulfills an important state interest.
