Anderson’s, now known as Capt. 7 Anderson’s Restaurant and Waterfront Market, has been owned by 8 brothers Jimmy and Johnny Patronis, who grew up in a Tallahassee 9 family restaurant business, and 10 WHEREAS, for 50 years, the Patronis brothers have worked at 11 Capt. Anderson’s nearly every business day, alternating day 12 shifts and night shifts every other day, and meeting between 13 shifts to plan the next day, and 14 WHEREAS, offering the best of the Gulf Coast’s seafood 15 fare, Capt. Anderson’s has won the loyalty of millions of 16 customers and friends and has earned a spot among America’s top 17 50 restaurants, and 18 WHEREAS, Capt. Anderson’s has won numerous honors and 19 awards, including being named “Best Seafood Restaurant” by 20 Southern Living and receiving Wine Spectator’s “Award of 21 Excellence” and, in 2005, receiving the highest honor of 22 induction into Florida Trend’s Restaurant Hall of Fame, and 23 WHEREAS, Capt. Anderson’s works year-round with fishermen, 24 oystermen, and others who make their livings harvesting seafood 25 from the Gulf and Bay waters to preserve and protect the fragile 26 coastal ecology, and 27 WHEREAS, Capt.
