       Senators Garcia and Lee moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 547 and 548
    4  insert:
    5         Section 12. In order to implement Specific Appropriations
    6  198, 203, and 207 of the 2017-2018 General Appropriations Act
    7  and consistent with s. 409.017, Florida Statutes, and subject to
    8  federal authorization and the availability of intergovernmental
    9  transfer (IGT) funds, the Agency for Health Care Administration
   10  is authorized to make Medicaid payments to qualifying Florida
   11  cancer hospitals that meet the criteria in 42 U.S.C. s.
   12  1395ww(d)(1)(B)(v) on a cost basis. Once federal approval is
   13  granted and IGT funds are available, the agency is authorized to
   14  submit budget amendments requesting the authority for this
   15  funding and the release of funds pursuant to the provisions of
   16  chapter 216, Florida Statutes. Any release of the funds shall
   17  include a plan for how the funds will be dispersed for the
   18  purposes specified in this section. This section expires July 1,
   19  2018.

   25         authorizing the Agency for Health Care Administration
   26         to make Medicaid payments to qualifying Florida cancer
   27         hospitals if certain conditions are met; authorizing
   28         the agency to submit budget amendments regarding the
   29         authority for the funding and the release of such
   30         funds; requiring the inclusion of a plan for any
   31         release of such funds;
