       Senator Braynon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 1245 and 1246
    4  insert:
    5         Section 23. No later than August 1, 2017, the Agency for
    6  Health Care Administration shall seek federal approval through a
    7  Medicaid waiver or a state plan amendment, as necessary, to
    8  extend Medicaid eligibility to the adult group described in 42
    9  U.S.C. s. 1396a(10)(A)(i)(VIII), and to enroll these individuals
   10  in the statewide Medicaid managed medical assistance program,
   11  pursuant to part IV of chapter 409, Florida Statutes, with
   12  enrollment to begin on January 1, 2018. Individuals who become
   13  eligible for Medicaid under this section have the same rights
   14  and responsibilities as other Medicaid enrollees in the
   15  statewide Medicaid managed medical assistance program.

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete line 165
   20  and insert:
   21         purpose; requiring the agency to seek federal approval
   22         through a Medicaid waiver or a state plan amendment,
   23         as necessary, to extend Medicaid eligibility to a
   24         certain group by a certain date; providing an
   25         enrollment date; clarifying that specific individuals
   26         who become eligible for Medicaid have the same rights
   27         and responsibilities as other enrollees in the
   28         statewide program; providing effective dates.
