The Committee on Health Policy (Bradley) recommended the
following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 203 - 215
4 and insert:
5 reasonable in light of the potential benefit to the patient. If
6 a patient is younger than 18 years of age:,
7 a. A second physician must concur with this determination,
8 and such determination must be documented in the patient’s
9 medical record;
10 b. Only a parent, legal guardian, caregiver, or health care
11 provider may assist the qualifying patient in the purchasing and
12 administering of marijuana for medical use; and
13 c. The qualifying patient may not purchase marijuana.
14 6.(e) Registers as the patient’s physician orderer of low
15 THC cannabis or medical cannabis for the named patient on the
16 compassionate use registry maintained by the department and
17 updates the registry to reflect the contents of the order,
18 including the amount of marijuana low-THC cannabis or medical
19 cannabis that will provide the patient with not more than a 90
20 day 45-day supply and a cannabis delivery device needed by the
21 patient for the medical use of marijuana low-THC cannabis or
22 medical cannabis. A physician may certify an amount greater than
23 a 90-day supply of marijuana if the physician has a reasonable
24 belief that the patient will use the additional marijuana in a
25 medically appropriate way. If the physician’s recommended amount
